Facilitators

Dr Biplab Banerjee is an Associate Professor at IIT Bombay, specializing in Machine Learning and Visual Computing. He advises AWL Inc. Japan on AI engineering and previously taught at IIT Roorkee. Dr Banerjee completed his PhD in Machine Learning at IIT Bombay, earning the “Excellence in Thesis” award. He leads the Deep Learning in Remote Sensing & Computer Vision research group. He has extensive international experience as a visiting professor in Germany, Belgium, and South Korea. He is also a Senior Member of IEEE. In 2021 and received IIT Bombay's Young Investigator's Award.

Prof Ram B Ramachandran is a Professor and Vice Dean at O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU), Jindal School of Banking & Finance, Haryana. Prof. Ram is a seasoned educator and accomplished senior executive with over 35 years of global experience in management, leadership, and emerging technologies. He specializes in educational policies, EdTech impact, and the transformative role of AI and FinTech. He has held leadership roles at Ernst & Young and other Fortune 100 firms, leading global teams and enterprise transformation programs. He is passionate about mentoring and has conducted numerous courses for professionals and executives. His research interest lies in technology, entrepreneurship, and education.

Mr Kapil Arora is an Executive Director at Grant Thornton Bharat LLP, Delhi. with over 15 years of expertise in the Learning and Development sector. He specializes in designing and delivering training programs on IFRS, Ind AS, and advanced accounting practices. With a strong focus on Financial Reporting, Strategic Business Reporting, and the integration of Data Analytics and Blockchain in finance, Mr. Arora has trained over 12,000 professionals and 7,000 students. He has also led consulting projects for major clients like Hero MotoCorp, Indian Oil, and Vedanta. Mr. Arora’s deep industry knowledge and dynamic teaching style make him a sought-after acilitator in financial education and development programmes.

Dr R Rajeshkanna is an Assistant Professor with the School of Sciences at Christ University, Bangalore with over 16 years of experience in computer science and information technology, he holds a PhD from Bharathiar University and an M.Phil from Vinayaka Missions University. He has published 35 high-impact international journal papers, contributed 16 book chapters, and authored seven books. His expertise spans AI, big data, and MANET/VANET. Dr Rajeshkanna has received notable funding for research and educational initiatives and has served as a coordinator for various prestigious academic programs, including IIT Bombay's Nodal Resource Center and NPTEL SPOC.

Dr Bijeesh T. V. is an Assistant Professor with the School of Engineering and Technology at Christ University, Bangalore. Expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and remote sensing. His research focuses on surface water delineation using machine learning algorithms, and AI-enabled remote health monitoring systems. He has contributed significantly to academia, with several publications in reputed journals. Dr Bijeesh has been a resource person for trainings in areas such as AI, machine learning, and parallel computing. He has served as a primary evaluator for AICTE's Toycathon 2021 and has mentored industry-based student projects at Epsilon.

Ms Shreya Nair is a Programme Manager at the Faculty & Staff Development Centre, Somaiya Vidyavihar University, Mumbai. She is also pursuing her PhD in the field of innovation and finance. Prior to joining SVU, she has worked with Goldman Sachs and has served as an Assistant Professor at Christ University. During the course of her career, she has extensively worked with MS Office tools and Generative AI tools, and has conducted training sessions on MS Excel and other software.
