FDP on Intellectual Property Rights; Special Reference to Patents

In today`s competitive world, a key factor contributing to success in business is the management of knowledge, an aspect of which is managing creations of the human mind. Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) are rights vested in creators for their creations. They are intangible; however, they possess immense value. They also span across science and technologies, including information technology, artistic creations, branding, product designs and so on. Therefore, understanding IPRs has become imperative for all those involved in industry, research, academia or setting up a new business entity.
